Priyanka Chopra was born on 18 July, 1982 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Her father Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra was an Army and her mother is Dr. Madhu Chopra. She started her education at La Martinière Girls College and than studied in USA.Priyanka Chopra set the stage on fire as she paid a tribute to popular Indian female singers like Kavita Krishnamurthy, Rekha Bhardwaj, Sunidhi Chauhan and Usha Uthup by grooving to their iconic numbers at the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA).
