Mila Kunis Makes Good On Her Promise To Attend The Marine Corps Ball

Mila Kunis served her country Friday night by attending the Marine Corps ball at the Greeneville Convention Center in Greenville, North Carolina with Sergeant Scott Moore of the 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines, who invited her to the party via a YouTube message (watch it below) while stationed in Musa Qala, Afghanistan, earlier this year.

Mila initially accepted the offer after a little friendly prodding by her Friends With Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake.

"You need to do it for your country," Timberlake said in an interview while the pair were promoting the film together in July.

"I'm going to work on this, man. This needs to go down," he assured Sgt. Moore.

Kunis immediately accepted though, saying, "I'll do it"; and Friday night she kept her promise and joined Moore for the big night.

"It's a huge honor just to be invited," Kunis told E! Online; revealing that she was excited to be "a part of something that truly I know nothing about but I'm incredibly eager to learn."

Mila dressed in a formal black gown and reportedly appeared to enjoy chatting to the other guests at her table.

"I'm feeling a little anxious, but excited. Taking a movie star to the ball on a first date is something I'm not used to," Sgt. Moore told RumorFix.com before the ball.

Sgt. Moore's proposal started a trend over the summer, with several other stars - including Kristin Cavallari (who attended the ball Thursday night), Linda Hamilton, Miley Cyrus and even Betty White - getting invites to the ball.

Kunis' Friends co-star Timberlake was invited by Corporal Kelsey de Santis shortly after her invite, and he attended her Marine Corps ball last weekend, calling it "one of the most moving evenings" of his life."
